Setting a Higher Standard

There is no universal standard for clean beauty. That’s why Dr. Bonjout decided to ban 2,100 potentially harmful ingredients from her formulas—going well beyond the strictest regulations in Europe which currently ban 1,376 ingredients.

Phenoxyethanol, a common preservative widely used in the beauty industry, even in Clean Beauty, has been associated with potential liver and blood concerns by ANSM (France's FDA equivalent). Despite its popularity, Dr. Bonjout has chosen to completely exclude it from her formulas.
